Why windows get dirty again

Salt film and hard water don't rinse off with a hose.

Central Coast glass gets dirty two different ways, depending on how close you live to the ocean. High Tide Window Cleaning treats each one differently.

Coastal homes: salt spray and fog film

Salt spray from the Pacific dries on glass as a hazy mineral film. Left for a year or more, it can etch the surface for good. Ocean-facing homes usually need exterior cleaning every 4 months.
Shell Beach, Pismo Beach, Avila Beach, Grover Beach, Morro Bay, Cayucos, Los Osos

Recommended: every 4 months

Inland and rural homes: dust and hard-water spots

Dust, pollen and sprinkler overspray leave hard-water spots, especially on rural homes running well water. Inland homes usually need cleaning twice a year, and solar arrays lose output under the same dust.
Paso Robles, Templeton, Atascadero, Arroyo Grande, Nipomo, Santa Maria, Orcutt

Recommended: every 6 months

How we keep it clean after the next rain

High Tide Window Cleaning rinses glass with deionized (purified) water, which has every mineral stripped out, so nothing is left behind to spot. We also scrub the frames, tracks and sills, so built-up dirt doesn’t run back onto the glass when it rains.
